These are some of the most common questions we get asked by our customers
Which photo is better for my dog’s portrait?
1.) Photo is taken in a well-lit area. Ideally, without a filter and in natural lighting.
2.) Close up and head-on, showing as much of the ears, head, neck, and chest as possible. This will allow us to get a good crop of your dog’s face. Photos of your pet laying down are not ideal.
3.) Avoid overhead or blurry photos.

What delivery time can I expect?
We produce locally and ship in the following countries:
United States: 10-15 business days ( usually sooner).
UK: 10-14 business days
Europe: 10-14 business days
Australia: 5-9 business days

Shipping is free .

The delivery time starts from the date you approve the artwork, within 3-4 working days after placing the order.
Do you make portraits of other pets
Of course, we do! We love animals and have been creating unique pet portraits for many years. If you’re looking to commission a picture of your animal, be it an adorable hamster or gorgeous horse, then get in touch with us today at hello@verywoof.com
Will you send me proof or a preview of my pet portrait before printing?
Yes, we will send you a proof for your approval within 3-4 working days after placing the order.
Do you create dog memorials or dog remembrance gifts?
The Verywoof team is privileged to be able to create portraits of your passed away dogs. Many of our clients commission us to print memorial pet portraits for their family or friends. It is a much-appreciated gift.
You can select any dog art styles and add the text that best represents the love and remembrance for the passed away dog. Check our memorial pet portraits options here.
Do you only sell three sizes of canvases?
No, we have more than 20 different sizes up to 40 inches (101.6 cm). If you need a different size, write us at hello@verywoof.com, and we will send you all the information about other sizes and formats for watercolor dog portraits, pencil dog drawings, and dog illustration portraits.
Can I change my order after it’s been placed?
You can change your order after it’s been placed! We are happy to help with any changes you need as long as they’re made within 12 hours of placing the order. After this time, most updates will no longer work, and shipping delays may result from those types of modifications.
When will you send me the free digital copy?
With each order, you will receive a link where you can download a high-quality digital file of your finished pet artwork.
We will send you the file when we receive the delivery confirmation from the carrier.
